December D

My, what time has passed! Sorry I've fallen quite a bit behind. I thought this summed up my December fairly well, and I'll try and get back on track this Wenesday, though I can't promise my inspirsessions will have changed much by then.
To explain... The lower left corner pretty adequately explains my Christmas. I took part in all kinds of fabulously domestic activities, including monogramming a handkerchief and baking all kinds of Christmas food -- including this pudding that almost resulted in disaster. (Kevin demonstrates the feelings surrounding this, as well as my favorite Christmas movie, Home Alone.) I discovered a coloring book and crayons have become a strange, new, inspiration for color in such a dreary climate. As for clothes, I'm getting in with army and comfy, reorienting myself with the tomboy side of me. On the other hand, Vivian Leigh is again at the head of my inspiration for old time celebrity (I should've put Katherine Hepburn's laugh on here, too.) and the new model in the Feb Teen Vogue drew me once more into ginger obsession. As for the Ramones, I've grown slightly fond of them... at the very least, I like to make fun of how they sing. ; )
